Here at the office we get tons of unwanted spam email every day from across the globe. Am I really interested in new stone crushing machines from China? I think not...

Of course I also get emails that I simply don’t want that aren't spam so one has to be careful when sending out bulk emails of any kind to make sure they don’t get labelled as spam.

Email marketing has evolved over the years and consumers are now quick to bin anything they have no connection with so the key to success with email marketing is to only send email that connects with your audience as anything else will cause you more headache than it’s worth.

So in answer to the question as to whether email marketing is still worth the effort I can tell you that it most certainly is as it is one of the most cost effective means of delivering your message to millions of potential customers in a matter of a few minutes.
